SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT
1) This Act may be called The Indian Boilers Act, 1923. 2[(2) It extends to the whole of India3[except the State of Jammu and Kashmir].] (3) It shall come into force on such date4as the5[Central Government], may by notification in the5[Official Gazette], appoint.
