In Section 5 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (hereinafter in the chapter referred to as the principal Act), for Clause (a), the following Clause shall be substituted, namely" ˜( a) ˜˜approved securities'' means the securities issued by the Central Government or any State Government or such other securities as may be specified by the Reserve Bank from time to time;'.
