Partition Act, 1893 Section 1

Section Text

(1) This Act may be called the Partition Act, 1893.

(2) It extends to the whole of India ¹ [except the State of Jammu and Kashmir] ² [* * * * *].

(4) But nothing herein contained shall be deemed to affect any local law providing for the partition of immoveable property paying revenue to Government.
