APPOINTMENT OF VISITORS
1) The State Government shall appoint for every asylum not less than three visitors, one of whom at least shall be a medical officer. (2) The Inspector-General of Prisons (where such office exists) shall be a visitor ex-officio of all the asylum within the limits of his jurisdiction.
