AMENDMENT OF SECTION 196-A -InSection 196A of the Income Tax Act-, in subsection
1), the following proviso shall be inserted with effect from the 1st day of June, 1999, namely:- "Provided that no deduction shall be made under this sub-section from any such income credited or paid on or after the 1st day of June, 1999.".
