THE BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY ACT, 1915

PREAMBLE

An Act to establish and incorporate a teaching and residential Hi ndu University at¹[ B anaras ] .

WHEREAS it is expedient to establish and incorporate a teaching and residential Hi ndu University at¹[ B anaras], and to dissolve the Hi ndu University Society, a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 , and to transfer to, and vest in, the said University, all property and rights now vested in the said Society; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
