THE UTTARANCHAL [THE UTTAR PRADESH KRISHI UTPADAN MANDI SAMITI (ALPKALIK VYAVASTHA) ADHINIYAM, 1972] ADAPTATION AND MODIFICATION ORDER, 2002 (THIRD AMENDMENT) ACT, 2004

PREAMBLE

An Act to replace and further to amend the Uttaranchal [The Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti (Alpkalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1972] Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002 in its application to the State of Uttaranchal

It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:--

Section 1 - Short title, commencement and extent

(1) This Act may be called the Uttaranchal [The Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti (Alpkalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1972] Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002 (Third Amendment) Act, 2004.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

(3) It shall be applicable to the whole State of Uttaranchal.

Section 2 - Amendment of Section 2 of the principal Act

In Section 2 of the Uttaranchal [The Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti (Alpkalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1972] Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002 for the words and figures, "till June 30, 2004" the words and figures, "till June 30, 2005" shall be substituted.

Section 3 - Repeal and savings

(1) The Uttaranchal [The Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti (Alpkalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1972] Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002 (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2004 is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance referred in sub-section (1), shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act, as if the provisions of this Act were in force at all material times.
