Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax (Second Amendment) Act, 2013 Complete Act - Bare Act

A Bill further to amend the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006.

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:"

1. Short title and commencement."

(1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax (Second Amendment) Act, 2013.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of Section 13."

In Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006, (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (5), for the expression "interest at one and a quarter per cent", the expression "interest at the rate of two per cent" shall be substituted.

3. Amendment of Section 19."In Section 19 of the principal Act, in sub-section (15), for the expression "interest at the rate of one and a quarter per cent", the expression "interest at the rate of two per cent" shall be substituted.

4. Amendment of Section 42."

In Section 42 of the principal Act, in sub-sections (3) and (4), for the expression "interest at one and a quarter per cent", the expression "interest at the rate of two per cent" shall be substituted.
