TAMIL NADU PROHIBITION OF FORCIBLE CONVERSION OF RELIGION (REPEAL) ACT, 2006

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.
" (1) This Act may be called the
Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Forcible Conversion of Religion (Repeal) Act, 2006.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 18th day of May 2004.

2. Repeal.
" The Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Forcible Conversion of Religion Act, 2002 (Tamil Nadu Act 56 of 2002) is hereby repealed.
