The Sikkim Legislative Assembly Members (Payment of Pension) Amendment Act, 2001 Complete Act - Bare Act

Further to amend the Sikkim Legislative Assembly Members (Payment of Pension) Act, 1984. Be it enacted by the

Legislature of Sikkim in the Fifty " second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be called the Sikkim Legislative Assembly Members (Payment of Pension) Amendment Act, 2001.

(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2001.

2. In the Sikkim Legislative Assembly Members (Payment of Pension) Act, 1984, in Section 3; sub " section (1) -

(a) for the words "one thousand rupees" wherever they occur , the words "two thousand rupees" shall be substituted;

(b) for the words "two thousand rupees" the words " three thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
