The Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation (Repeal) Act, 2001 Complete Act - Bare Act

An Act to repeal the Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation Act, 1979.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:

(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation (Repeal) Act, 2001.

(2) It shall be deemed, to have come into force on and with effect from the 24th day of January, 2001.

The Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation Act, 1979 (Punjab Act 19 of 1979), is hereby repealed:

Provided that such repeal shall not affect:

(a) the previous operation of the Act repealed or anything duly done or suffered there under or ;

(b) any obligation or liability accrued or incurred under the Act so repealed; or

(c) any legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any obligation or liability as aforesaid, and any such legal proceeding or remedy may be continued or enforced, as if this Act had not been passed.

The Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation (Repeal) Ordinance, 2001 (Punjab Ordinance No. 1 of 2001) is hereby repealed.
