An act to amend the Talcher Thermal Power Station (Acquisition and Transfer) Act, 1994.

it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-sixth Year in the Republic of India as follows:"

This Act may be called the Talcher Thermal Power Station (Acquisition and Transfer) Amendment Act, 1995.

In the Talcher Thermal Power Station (Acquisition and Transfer) Act, 1994 for section 18, the following Section shall be substituted, namely:-

"18. The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 and the Registration Act, 1908, or in any other State law for the time being in force, or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any of the said laws, other than this Act, or in any decree or order of any court, tribunal or other authority"
