ORISSA ACT 5 OF 1997

[Received the assent of the Governor on the 20^th May 1997, first published in an extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 26^th May, 1997]

AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE ORISSA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS' SALARY, ALLOWANCES AND PENSION ACT, 1954

E it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows;-

. This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Members' Salary, Allowances and Pension (Amendment) Act, 1997.

. In section 4 of the Orissa Legislative Assembly Members' Salary, Allowances and Pension Act, 1954, in clause (c),-

(i) in sub-clause (i), for the words "highest class available immediately below the Air-conditioned class", the words "Air-conditioned, Two Tier" shall be substituted; and

(ii) in sub-clause (ii), for the words "forty paise", the words "fifty paise" shall be substituted.
