THE CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (KERALA


AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 [1]


(ACT 1 OF 1988)
An Act further to amend the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in its application to the State of Kerala
Preamble. "
whereas it is expedient further to amend the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act 5 of 1908), in its application to the State of Kerala , for the purpose hereinafter appearing;

be it enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows: "

1.

Short title, extent and commencement.
"(1) This Act may be called the Code of Civil Procedure (Kerala Amendment) Act, 1987.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala .

(3) It shall come into force at once.

Amendment of Section 60.
"In the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 60 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act 5 of 1908), after clause
(g),
the following clause shall be inserted, namely: "

"(gg)
all moneys payable to the beneficiaries under the Family Benefit Scheme for the employees of the Government of Kerala;".
