An Act

Further to amend the Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Act, 1963 in its application to the State of Haryana.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:--

This Act may be called the Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development (Haryana Amendment) Act, 2012.

Clause (aa) of section 22 of the Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Act, 1963 (hereinafter called the principal Act) shall be omitted.

For sub-section (1) of section 25 of the principal Act, the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:--

"(1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, subject to the condition of previous publication, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act and may give them prospective or retrospective effect.".

(1) The Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development (Haryana Amendment) Ordinance, 2012 (Haryana Ordinance No. 4 of 2012), is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
