THE CHHATTISGARH KRISHI UPAJ MANDI (SANSHODHAN) ADHINIYAM, 2004

[Act No. 6 of 2004]

PREAMBLE
An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973).
Be it enacted by Chhattisgarh legislature in fifty fifth year of Republic of India as follow :--

Section 1 - Short Title and Commencement
(1) This Act maybe called the Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj Mandi (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2004.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in official gazette.

Section 2 - Amendment of Section 66-A
In sub-section (1) of section 66-A of the Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act) for the words "Commissioner of Division" the words "State Government" shall be substituted.

Section 3 - Repeal
The Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj Mandi (Sanshodhan) Ordinance, 2003 (No. 9 of 2003) is hereby repealed.
